Chang Chun is a city in JinLin province, in the North East of China. (Highlighted in red on the China map) It is close to Korea and the Korean food there is very good. We went to this Korean restaurant and it was super authentic. It is a joint venture between the Chinese and the North Korean government. All the waitresses are from North Korea. (See the last photo, waitresses performing with North Korean flags pinned to their shirts) They get to work and study in Chang Chun for three years and then rotate back to North Korea. Friggin awesome.
The meat with the sauce is dog meat. They say the sauce is extremely important as it is made from dog bones, dog meat and chilli. (3rd photo) Overall, this is quite an experience.
