Wolfgang’s was started by Peter Luger’s long time headwaiter, Wolfgang Zwiener, he decided to venture on his own after learning all the crafts from Peter Luger’s. If you have gone to Peter Luger’s you will see the similarities in both steakhouses. Wolfgang’s offers excellent porterhouse steaks. I ordered the steak for 2 with mashed potatoes and creamy spinach. The steak comes out sizzling and hot. They serve it exactly the same way Peter Luger’s does. The waiter takes each pre-cut steak and drenches it in the oil from the steak and served onto your plate. It was cooked perfectly, medium rare to be exact, it was juicy, soft, tender and just so succulent. If you are lazy and do not want to make the trek to Brooklyn, Wolfgang’s will hit the spot. The side dishes were tasty as well, the creamy spinach exactly the way I like it, creamy creamy creamy! And the mashed potatoes was rich and yummy! Go and reward yourself with an excellent steak at Wolfgang’s!
