Molto is a restaurant located on Vialle Pariolia, a beautiful street outside of the center of Rome. Many restaurants on this street are well known for their fiorentinas (huge juicy steaks) but Molto is not a traditional restaurant. The interior of Molto is very modern and is decorated with contemporary art, the customers seem to be a well-dressed crowd, chatting quietly amongst each other. The waiters are very well-mannered and they recommended the roasted pig as their specialty. Unfortunately it was not my favorite dish because I didn’t find it to be spectacular. Yes, I was very disappointed because I love having pig now and then. We also tried the roasted chicken but that was not so successful either…sorry to say this, maybe Italians should stick with what they do best, PASTA…because their Amatriciana was amazing, and the juicy Carbonara and even the fish was really delicious! Of course don’t forget to order antipasti like mozzarella di bufala and prosciutto!
There is another reason why I always go to Molto when I visit Rome, it is because of a dessert called Zabaione or (if you want the full name): Zabaione all’uovo di “Parisi” con mandorle pralinate. This amazing dessert is made of beaten eggs and wine and it’s just heavenly! My friend ordered it and I’m not ashamed to say that I finished it before she even returned from the bathroom! See I did not even have time to take a picture of it… sorry!!
I am The Hungry Giraffe, and I am addicted to food!
There I said it…feel much better now…
