Yauatcha is a really cool, modern and delicious dim sum restaurant in Soho, London. I love coming here for the scrumptious and authentic Chinese food.

The decor is very minimal (make sure you book upstairs) with a huge aquarium; and the toilets use my favorite Aesop toiletries!

The negatives are that the waitresses are constantly trying to take away your plates even before you finish and come wipe away your crumbs every 10 mins, which gets to be a bit annoying when you are having a conversation. The restaurant is always packed so be prepared to wait if you haven’t booked in advance. Oh… and you need to talk very loudly otherwise you can’t hear yourself.

Some of my favorite dishes are venison puff balls, various kinds of congee, sticky rice with seabass and ALL of their desserts.

Mega YUM!
